The Breakup Letter to End All Breakup Letters… (Please Use at Your Own Risk)
I’m not sure what I did, but I just wanted to tell you that I’m here for you if you ever need anything. I understand that you need some space and I’m willing to give you all the time that you need. I’ll never forget the time we first met. Remember that, babe? It was at __________, and your smile lit up the room.
I will never forget that 😉
I hope our memories will overcome anything. I want to marry you, but I know that you need to think things over. You have school, career and your travels ahead of you.
But I’m still a little confused and need some closure. If we can just set up a time we can meet and talk about it. I did everything for you. I was there when your mom was in the hospital and loaned you money. I’m not asking for any of it back though.
I also wanted to tell you how much is going on in my life. I just recently got a new job but and I’m happy, but I was also just diagnosed with Lou Gehrig’s disease. I’ll be ok though, I just want to tell you that.
I was going through our pictures a couple of nights ago and started to cry. We had such good moments that I can’t understand why you would want to through it away just like that. We were best friends, lovers and looked towards the future together. Remember that time when we were sitting under that big oak tree while we discussed what we’re going to name our kids?
That was such a magical time for me and I know it was for you. Deep down inside I know that there is still that spark between us and I’m willing to wait until eternity.
I have never met a woman like you. You are my essential. You make me feel like a man. And no matter what happens between us, we will be forever intertwined.
I ran into your mom last week at the grocery and explained to her that I was worried about you. That new guy you’re supposedly seeing is bad news, but you don’t see that yet. I know him. He treats you like crap and has other women on the side.
Me and your mom hugged things out and she wished me well.
Guess what? Your birthday is coming up and I want to take you out somewhere special… as friends. I hope you will take me up for my offer, but I understand if you don’t. I want to surprise you, but let’s just say that it has to do with something where we first met. J
Yes, it’s cheesy, but what can I say? I’m a hopeless romantic!
